AQMD Board Meeting - Oppose PARS 1111 & 1121
Oppose the proposed ban on natural gas-powered water heaters and furnaces.
South Coast Air Quality Management District
21865 Copley Drive Diamond Bar, CA 91765-4178 United States
The South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) is proposing amendments to existing rules (1111 and 1121) that would impose an expected annual tax of $306 million on homeowners, renters, schools, and small businesses – an average of $1,510 per household!
Unless defeated, Proposed Amended Rules (PAR) 1111 and 1121 would be the costliest rulemaking AQMD has ever undertaken.
The AQMD Governing Board will vote on this matter at its meeting on Friday, June 6, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM. We need your voice to persuade the Board to oppose these costly proposed rules.
Register today to either attend and speak against this proposal at AQMD headquarters in Diamond Bar, or to participate and speak online via Zoom. Additional details will be provided upon registration.
