Chip Ahlswede

With over 25 years of experience in developing and executing strategic initiatives, industry advocacy, and public relations, I am passionate about promoting the value and mission of the multifamily housing sector. As the Vice President of External Affairs at Apartment Association of Orange County, I lead the organization's efforts to become leaders in industry relations, community engagement, public affairs, and public policy advocacy.

In my previous roles as CEO of BH/GLAAR and founder of Inserting Logic, I have successfully enhanced the reputation, influence, and financial stability of various organizations and businesses in the real estate industry, both locally and globally. I have also implemented cross-discipline coordination to execute major initiatives involving IT, communications, marketing, member relations, and executive functions. I enjoy the challenge of developing successful initiatives from idea through launch and empowering the development of leadership along the way. My ultimate reward is when I see others succeed through the work we've done together.
