CHPC is a coalition of strong independent apartment associations that represent over 35,000 individual property owners and managers and more than 1,000,000 rental units throughout the state. CHPC members include:

• Apartment Association of Orange County
• Apartment Association, California Southern Cities
• Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles
• Foothill Apartment Association
• Minority Apartment Owners Association
• Santa Barbara Rental Property Association

CHPC combines the best of all possible worlds to effectively represent its members. The primary mission of each independent organization is to represent the interests of its members at the local level. At the state level, each association has its own legislative advocate or consultant. CHPC joins together as a unit for statewide rental housing issues when appropriate.
